What size Quality pump do I need?
Pump size depends on your pool volume, plumbing diameter, and distance from the pump to the pool. A 0.75kW pump handles most pools up to 50,000 litres. Larger pools or long pipe runs need more. Bring your pool dimensions to our Roodepoort or Nelspruit branch and we will calculate the right size.
How often should I replace my filter sand?
Filter sand should be replaced every 3 to 5 years depending on use and water quality. If your water stays cloudy even after backwashing, or your filter pressure stays high, it is time for new sand. We stock the correct grade of filter sand and can replace it for you.
