What is the difference between suction and pressure cleaners?
Suction cleaners connect to your skimmer box and use your existing pump to move around the pool. They are simpler, cheaper, and work well for most residential pools. Pressure cleaners need a separate booster pump and use water pressure to drive the cleaner and collect debris in their own bag. Pressure cleaners handle larger debris better but cost more to buy and run.
How often should I replace my Kreepy Krauly hoses?
Most Kreepy Krauly hoses last 2 to 3 years with regular use. Signs of wear include cracking, stiffness, air leaks at the joins, and the cleaner losing suction. Replacing one worn section often fixes the whole set. Bring the old hose in and we will match the exact diameter and connector.
Which automatic cleaner is best for my pool?
It depends on your pool shape, surface type, and debris load. For standard plaster or fibreglass pools, a Kreepy Krauly Classic or Baracuda suction cleaner handles most situations. Pebblecrete or rough surfaces need a model with a more durable diaphragm or disc. Tell us about your pool and we will recommend the right one.
Do you stock parts for older Kreepy Krauly models?
Yes. We carry a wide range of spares including diaphragms, discs, shoes, hose connectors, and A-frames for current and older Kreepy Krauly models. If we don't have it on the shelf, we can usually get it within a few days.
