The shop sits in Horison, in the middle of Roodepoort. From there our maintenance vans run east into Florida, north into Constantia Kloof, and north-west into Ruimsig every week. Walk-in customers come from the wider West Rand for free water testing.

Other West Rand pool services charge for a water test, then sell you the chemicals. We test free on every maintenance visit, and free for any walk-in to the Horison shop with a 500ml sample. Five minute lab test, exact dose, exact order to add the chemicals. No upsell. The free water testing model has been the spine of Ridd's Aqua Centre since the Trollip family took over in the late 1990s.
