Pool ownership comes with a lot of guesswork. Is the pH right? When did we last change the filter sand? What did the technician do on the last visit? What do I need to buy? Most pool owners carry this information in their heads, or they don't have it at all.
We built the Ridd's Pool Care portal to fix that. It's a free online toolbox for every pool owner we work with. Register once, add your pool, and everything you need is in one place.
Test Your Water at Home and Get Instant Advice
You have a test kit at home. You dip the strips, get the readings, and then what? Most people Google it, get confused, and either over-dose or do nothing.
The portal has a built-in water test tool. Enter your readings, chlorine, pH, alkalinity, stabiliser, salt, calcium hardness, and it instantly tells you what's out of range and exactly what to add. It's the same advice we'd give you at the counter, available any time you need it.
If your pool has a salt chlorinator, the salt field appears automatically. If you don't, it doesn't. The tool knows your pool setup.
Order What You Need Without Leaving Home
After your water test, the portal suggests the products you need from our catalogue, matched to your results. Add them to your cart, choose delivery or collection, select your payment method, and submit. We get the order immediately and sort it out.
The product catalogue is searchable by name or description, and organised into categories, chemicals, filter parts, pump parts, cleaner parts. If you know what you're looking for, you can browse straight to it. If you're not sure, the water test points you in the right direction.

Every time our technician services your pool, the visit is logged in the portal. Water chemistry results, what was done, photos of the pool, pump room and filter, and any recommendations for the next visit. You can see the full history any time.
This matters more than most people realise. When something goes wrong, a green pool, a pump failure, a chlorinator cell that needs replacing, the service history tells the full story. You're not starting from scratch every time.
Equipment Tracking and Maintenance Alerts
When you set up your pool in the portal, you record your equipment, pump make and model, filter type and media age, chlorinator details, heating system. The portal tracks the age of everything and flags when maintenance is due.
Filter sand should be replaced every two years. Chlorinator cells typically last three to five years. Heat pump components need periodic inspection. Most pool owners only find out something is overdue when the pool starts misbehaving. The portal tells you before that happens.
For Pool Professionals Too
The portal isn't just for homeowners. If you're a pool technician or an independent pool care company, you can register a trade account. Link your clients' pools to your profile, log signed job cards after each visit, complete with photos and chemistry readings, and order your chemicals at trade pricing.
Each job card is a timestamped, signed record of the visit. It's your proof of work and your invoice reference in one.
